Property Tax Collection

NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TOWN OF MARCY TAX ROLL AND WARRANTTAKE NOTICE, that I, Gina M. Schillaci, the undersigned Town Clerk/Tax Collector of the Town of Marcy, County of Oneida, and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Marcy, for the year 2010. Tax payments can be mailed to Marcy Town Clerk, P.O. Box 220, Marcy, N.Y. 13403. If paid by mail, envelopes must be US postmarked before said due dates. I will also be available to receive tax payments in person @ Municipal Bldg., 8801 Paul Becker Rd. in the said Town of Marcy, from January 4, 2010, to January 31, 2010 Monday thru Friday 9 AM – 1 PM, with exception of weekends & holidays.TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2010, without penalty charge or interest. Pursuant To Tax Law Sec. 924, there shall be added interest of 1.0% if paid after January 31st until February 28, 2010 and 1 ½% if paid through March 31, 2010. If taxes are unpaid and a second notice of taxes due is processed, an additional chare of $2.00 will become part of the amount due. I will be available at Marcy Municipal Bldg. in February and March 2010 on MONDAYS FROM 9 AM TO 12:00 PM, for the purpose of receiving taxes with penalties in person, listed on the said roll.TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of law, the tax rolls of the Town of Marcy will be returned to the Oneida County Commissioner of Finance on the 1st day of April, 2010.Gina M.
